- Raw materials are fed into the extruder barrel, where the screw applies heat and pressure to melt and homogenize the polymer. The melt is then forced through a precision die, cast onto cooling rolls, and solidified into film. Subsequent processes such as peeling, stretching, trimming, and winding complete the film production.
- The extrusion system can be configured with single or multiple extruders to enable co-extrusion of different TPU layers. Each extruder is typically equipped with multiple temperature control zones to ensure precise thermal management. A PLC control platform coordinates the entire operation, allowing centralized monitoring and simplified operation by a single operator.
