Following its acquisition by JWELL in early 2024, Kautex - a historic German blow molding machinery brand founded in 1949 - has undergone a strategic renewal, combining German engineering excellence with JWELL's strong global manufacturing and innovation ecosystem.

JWELL appointed Mr. Eike Wedell, a 35-year veteran of the plastics machinery industry, as CEO of Kautex. Under his leadership, the company is advancing a clear mission: to rebuild trust, modernize technology, and deliver customer-centered solutions that define the next generation of extrusion blow molding.

"With JWELL's strong backing, we can preserve Kautex's hallmark quality while achieving cost efficiency and global competitiveness," said Wedell. "It's a partnership that unites German precision and Chinese manufacturing power."

JWELL Chairman Mr. He Haichao added:

"The future needs origins - and origins need opportunity. Kautex will continue to be a premium brand within the JWELL family, representing our shared pursuit of excellence and innovation."

At K 2025, Kautex unveiled its new all-electric KEB Green series, offering enhanced energy efficiency and optimized performance for packaging applications, particularly in sustainable and recycled material processing. This marks a major step in Kautex's evolution from an automotive-focused manufacturer to a solution-driven provider for consumer and industrial packaging.

The collaboration between JWELL and Kautex reflects a powerful synergy of "East meets West" - where German technical expertise meets Chinese scale and agility. With JWELL's manufacturing strength and global supply chain, Kautex now stands on a renewed foundation of innovation, reliability, and customer focus.

"We're rebuilding from the middle of the field," said Wedell. "People still know the machine, and they trust its quality. With JWELL's global support, we can win again."
