What Is HDPE T Grip Sheet
HDPE T Grip Sheet (also called HDPE T-Rib Liner / T-Lock Liner) is a special extruded high-density polyethylene plastic sheet for concrete lining and waterproof construction.
Waterproof Principle:HDPE material itself is impermeable to water, resisting chemical corrosion. Sheets are hot-welded to seal all joints.
Production Process
Raw Material Feeding. Virgin HDPE pellets are automatically conveyed into the extruder hopper. Auxiliary additives (anti-oxidant, carbon black anti-UV masterbatch) are proportionally mixed together in advance to ensure uniform material performance of finished sheets.

Single Screw Extruder. The rotating screw continuously transports HDPE pellets forward. By controlling segmented heating zones and screw shear force, solid particles are gradually compressed to eliminate air gaps inside raw materials.

T Die Extrusion.The internal mold cavity is prefabricated with T-shaped rib profiles. Melt is extruded in one piece to form a sheet with smooth front surface and integrated T anchor ribs on the back. This one-step molding avoids secondary bonding of ribs.

Calibrating Unit.The hot extruded semi-finished sheet enters profiling calibration rollers. Precision rollers press and shape the T ribs to standard size, fix sheet thickness and width, and eliminate surface wrinkles or unevenness.

Cooling Roller System. The cooling roller will cool the high-temperature HDPE sheet. Fast and even cooling locks the T-rib shape permanently, prevents sheet deformation, and stabilizes physical indicators like flatness and hardness.

Haul Off Machine. The haul-off unit pull the cooled sheet at constant, adjustable speed. Stable traction ensures consistent sheet thickness and avoids stretching or shrinkage of T ribs caused by uneven speed.

Cutting Machine.The cutting machine will cut the sheet according to the requirement of the customer.

Finished Sheet Collection.Cut Operators inspect appearance, thickness and T rib size, then pack finished HDPE T grip sheets for storage and delivery.
Advantages of Our HDPE T Grip Sheet Extrusion Line
1,Back Structure
T Grip has Integral T-shaped anchor ribs on the reverse side,but both sides of the ordinary one are smooth, no anchoring ribs.
2,Bonding with concrete
T Grip: T ribs are embedded in concrete for mechanical lock; no hollow gap, stops interlayer water seepage.Ordinary one only has surface adhesion; easy to delaminate, forming hidden water flow channels between sheet and concrete.
3,Anti-seepage Performance
T Grip are double waterproofing - impermeable substrate + locked interface, works well under underground high water pressure.
Ordinary one only has single-layer water barrier; leakage risk once separation occurs.
4,Application Scenarios
T Grip are usually used in underground tunnels, culverts, sewage tanks, concrete lining projects.
Ordinary one are used in surface covering, simple waterproofing without concrete pouring
5,Construction Reliability
T Grip has resists structural settlement and deformation without peeling off.
Ordinary one are prone to bulging, falling off when concrete shifts.
