Benefits of Non-Woven Fabric

01

Double Production Efficiency

The workforce-related nature of traditional manual production is inefficient and error-prone. Non-woven fabric production lines operate at high speed and accuracy, such as automatic cutting and stacking of disposable hotel supplies and medical products. One machine can perform the work of multiple skilled workers, contributing significantly to an increase in production capacity.

02

Reduce Production Costs

The substantial initial investment required for non-woven fabric production lines might make people less enthusiastic about them; however, they ultimately lead to cost reduction, waste minimization, labor focus, and product consistency. These machines can improve material utilization in addition to cutting and sealing, which are the main reasons for increased productivity compared to manual methods.

03

Improve Product Quality

Brands cannot be built successfully without precision and consistency. The automation of non-woven machines helps prevent human error factors and guarantees uniform quality for products made on the line. With this tool, product size and bond strength are stringently regulated according to industry standards.

Application of Non-Woven Fabric

Hygiene Products

Diapers, sanitary pads, and wipes rely on nonwoven fabrics for softness and absorbency. Production lines here focus on high-speed output and fabric uniformity.

01

Medical Supplies

Surgical masks, gowns, and drapes require nonwoven fabrics with barrier properties. Precision bonding and finishing are critical for safety standards.

02

Filtration

Air and liquid filters use nonwoven fabrics with specific pore sizes and strength. Production lines must control fiber orientation and bonding techniques.

03

Geotextiles

Used in construction for soil stabilization, these fabrics need durability and resistance to environmental factors. Production lines emphasize strength and weather resistance.

04

Automotive & Packaging

Nonwoven fabrics are used for interior insulation and protective packaging, requiring specific weight and tensile properties.

Working Of Non-Woven Fabric

Fiber Feeding: Raw fibers are loaded into the system via hoppers or feeders. The fibers are often in the form of pellets, filaments, or staple fibers, depending on the type of nonwoven fabric desired.
Web Formation: The fibers are dispersed and laid into a web through processes like carding, airlaying, or spunbonding. This step determines the fabric's thickness, weight, and uniformity.
Web Bonding: The web is bonded using mechanical (needle punching), chemical (adhesives), or thermal (heat bonding) methods. This step imparts strength and stability to the fabric.
Finishing: The bonded fabric undergoes finishing processes such as calendaring, coating, or embossing to enhance surface properties, appearance, or functionality.
Cutting & Packaging: The final fabric is cut into rolls or sheets, then packaged for distribution. Quality checks ensure consistency and adherence to specifications.

FAQ

Q: How is spunbond non woven fabric manufactured?

A: Melt polymer chips(raw material). Form filaments by spinning the molten polymer and stretching the molten filaments. Separate and spread fiber bundles of many filaments, and lay down the fibers on a net to form a web. Bind the fibers in the form of a sheet through thermal bonding and perform embossing.

Q: What is the difference between spunbond and non woven fabric?

A: Nonwoven fabrics have a more open and irregular structure compared to spunbond fabric, providing different properties such as higher porosity, flexibility, and breathability. The main difference between spunbond and nonwoven fabrics is their structure and manufacturing process.

Q: How to maintain the spunbond nonwoven production line?

A: Routine maintenance is required, focusing on cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and tightening. Routine maintenance is performed independently by the mechanical operator, and proper maintenance is required on a regular basis.
